The phenomenon and the cause of cramping
When you cramp, the muscles will become hard, and sometimes you can even see a muscle twitching underneath the skin. Muscle cramps may disappear in a few seconds, or may last for over 15 minutes. Treatment of cramp while riding:
1.Stop exercising immediately;
2.Go somewhere cool and drink water, sports drink is better;
3.Stretch the cramped muscle slowly, or massage on the cramping part;
4.In the course of treatment, hyperthermia or hypothermia can be used as assist treatment. Both sports spray and cool or hot pack are effective.
